Ooooh this was a good one!! With a plot twist on the first page and me holding my breath within the first two chapters, I was hooked fast and couldn’t put it down!! This book holds lots of mystery, suspense, and secrets – so I can’t actually say much without giving things away, but I will say that I’m so glad I read this thrilling book!

Rachel is a hard working single mom that I instantly loved. Even though I found myself getting frustrated sometimes with how she handled things both with her daughter at home and her mysterious stalker at large, it didn’t make me love her character any less! To me, that is a sign of great writing and character development. Rachel and her daughter’s flaws made them relatable and lovable. I felt their struggle and rooted for them the whole time.

We occasionally got to peek into memories from Rachel’s past, giving us a nice blend of characters, from old relationships to current family dynamics, and new characters that we were introduced to along the way. I wanted to trust everyone in her circle while simultaneously suspecting literally everyone on every page! I searched for clues and came up with my own crazy theories, hoping I was on to something!

Highly recommend if you like strong female lead characters and intricately weaved suspense!
