This is my second Rosie Green Holiday book, and I loved it! It was so much fun diving back into the world of the Little Duck Pond Cafe, and while each book can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend getting the full experience and touring this entire series like you would binge a tv show.

This time, our story surrounds Maddy and her upcoming wedding to the man of her dreams, Jack. While I love Maddy and want all the best for her, oh boy, did that girl drive me crazy at times! She was going through some seriously heavy stuff throughout the book, and though her friends and family, especially her fiancé, wanted to support her, Maddy had an incredibly frustrating habit of keeping secrets. Not wanting to upset people, or sometimes not wanting to voice things out loud and make them a reality, she would rather just keep everything inside, unintentionally distancing those she loved most. I just wanted to reach through the pages and shake her and shout at her to let people in!

I was excited to revisit the cozy small town charm and see many of the familiar characters I fell in love with from Cosy Nights and Snowball Fights. I highly recommend this series if you’re looking for a touching, cozy drama/comedy!
